Yes it’s selling for 219 but I only want to buy when there’s already a review, just to be sure. =) But i hope both Teclast and Chuwi also make a 10.5 size tablet or 10.5 size of IPAD. I’m leaning on Chuwi Hi9 Air because it’s much cheaper than Teclast T10 and also the color, I prefer the black vs the white, but the brightness is just a concerned for me because it will be also used outside, maybe not on direct sunlight but with a roof, so I also wanna know if still ok to be used outside with a shade and not on direct sunlight. So hoping for more discount on Teclast T10 or hoping for good performance of New Tablet that will be released this year.
August 26, 2017 at 4:57 pm #71011@Mathias Ok. Oh.. you have a Chuwi Vi10 Plus, is it good for reading comics, manga, magazine & ebooks because of its 10.8 size and 3:2 aspect ratio? Although it only have 214 ppi compare to teclast x98 plus II with 264 ppi. I also like 10.1 tablet but most of them have 16:9 or 16:10 ratio. It is ok, but i really like to have 4:3 ratio for reading or 3:2 but the cons is it will not be good for watching videos on it.
If you plan on holding it while reading, it may be a bit too heavy. I like the screen, even watched a few movies on it without any problems. Can’t say I’ve done much ebook reading on it – I prefer reading on my Mi Pad 2 – but I assume you’ll have a pleasant reading experience on the Vi10 Plus as well. Another alternative is the Teclast T10 (currently on sale in China only, but should surface on the usual resellers soon).

Yeah i think it will be a bit too heavy with a weight of 686grams I used to have pipo t9 with a weight of 430grams and i thought it was already heavy, though i quickly got to used to it. Maybe i can get used to tablets that weight more than 600grams and up or maybe not..hehe. So vi10 is good for reading, thanks for that really need that. That’s two new tablet from Teclast, hope others release new tablet too, maybe a copy of Ipad 10.5.. Thanks.

August 21, 2017 at 7:14 am #70832The Teclast X98 Plus II issues have not gone away. You’d be better off with the Chuwi
That’s a shame it looks good although i like the look of the first version of Teclast x98 plus. Chuwi is really the first choice because of bigger screen size, but teclast had more ppi with 264 vs 214 ppi for chuwi hi10 plus so i think if might be better for readings. Thanks
I would consider other alternatives, but it comes down to your hardware requirements/preferences. Teclast P10 (https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_696395.html) you can get 13% off using ‘VIPTableta13’ as coupon code to pay 123.31 USD. FNF Ifive Mini 4S (https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_602714.html?wid=11) on sale right now for 106.99 USD.
That Teclast P10 is a new tablet from teclast, right? Can’t find any review on youtube but it looks good with less bezel and good price.
For Fns ifive mini 4s, already research this tablet, but i really like bigger screen size so it can be easy to read comics, manga, magazines. If i could i will choose chuwi hi12…. =)Thanks for the reply
