I was excited to see this, as I wanted to go from Win10 Home to Pro.  But entering the new product key did not work for me. OEM UEFI devices like the iWork10 have an encrypted Product Key somewhere in the firmware of the device.  I ended up using the Rufus.exe to transfer the MSDN iso I had to a bootable USB stick.  That didn’t work either. The install didn’t ask me what Win10 version I wanted, it saw the Product Key in the firmware and installed the Home version. Grr…  After some research I ended up putting the ei.cfg file below into the \Sources folder on the USB media.  It’s a text file with this in it:

    [EditionID]
    Professional
    [Channel]
    Retail

This caused the install to ask me what version I wanted to install instead of automatically picking Home.

Hope this helps others wanting to upgrade the Win10 version.  I’ve had my iWork10 for a couple of weeks now, and REALLY like it. No more iPad for me! 🙂

I have noticed occasional dropouts – not as frequent as every 30 minutes. Does anyone know of a fix for this?
