Yesterday it was 208€ at GearBest, today it is 212€ again.

Since delivery could take a while and I’m going to take some vacation, I’m going to wait until it is back in stock in the Europe warehouse.  Taxes and customs would add 70€. Which would still make it a very cheap tablet. However, according to Murphy if I order it now from China, it will be in stock in Europe again within a week 😉

I see what you mean: my Teclast X98 Air II also allows much easier transfer of comics than my iPad 1.

Build quality is good for you?

The problems you list are no dealbreaker for me:

• Bluetooth:  I’ve never used it on my Teclast
• HDMI: I usually stream to my ChromeCast
• Sound: Teclast is also not great, so if I use it (rarely), I use headphones.

Guess I’ll have to wait a bit longer then. Hopefully reviews of the Chuwi Hi12 start coming soon. Looks nice, but I do want to make sure I get decent tablet.
