Exactly same problem on the Teclast x98 Air III
Absolutely random crashes with the colored-and-flickering vertical lines on the screen for several seconds. At this seconds you are not able to do anythings with the tablet. Then tablet is powering off by itself and starting to boot. BUT at the beginning of the boot process just after a second after boot logo a very small white text with the error blinks for a 0.1sec and the tablet finally shutdown.
And only after this you may take control over you tablet – you push the power button and teclast starts to boot normaly.
As nothing happend before.
Have this strange periodical issue for 2.5 yrs. It happens more or less regularly without any reason or scenario.
That error that blink for 0,1sec during first auto reboot after the crash says:
EFILINUX ERROR [pmic_gettype_from_smbios:57] Failed to call smbios getNext: Not Found
Very strange error text…
Didn’t find any solution for this problem 2yrs, even the reason why this happen.
