    Somewhere in the settings there is a touchscreen option to turn OFF the default little blue circle that shows up when you touch the screen. Turn that OFF! Max

    All Settings > Ease of Access > Other Options > Touch Feedback

    It didn’t help at all.

    Go to control Panel Select pen and touch Click/select double tap or touch action click settings (a new dialog box will open) play with speed, duration, spatial tolerence etc.

    It helped a little bit with double tapping. Nothing to adjust dragging, which is my main issue.

    Nope, no screen protector.
