1. Check for Correct Silead Driver Version
Make sure you have the correct touchscreen firmware for your Ezpad V10 model. Sometimes different batches of the same model use slightly different drivers.
If the driver from the Chinese website isn’t working, try downloading another version. Some users report success with drivers from Teclast, Chuwi, or Cube tablets, as they use similar hardware.
2. Reinstall and Calibrate Touchscreen
Uninstall the current touchscreen driver:
Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).
Look for Human Interface Devices or Touchscreen.
Right-click on SileadTouch (or similar) and select Uninstall device.
Restart your tablet.
Install a different Silead driver version:
Try downloading from alternative sources like:
TechTablets Forum
Windows forums or other tablet manufacturers’ support pages.
After installation, run the Silead calibration tool (if provided) to map the touch input properly.
3. Manually Calibrate the Touchscreen
If the driver installs but touch is still misaligned, try manual calibration:
Open Command Prompt as Administrator.
Type:
tabcal lincal novalidate XGridPts=5,25,50,75,95 YGridPts=5,25,50,75,95
Press Enter and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Registry Fix (If Still Misaligned)
Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\TouchPrediction
Look for values like Latency, SampleTime, and FilterCoeff, and adjust them based on recommendations from forums.
