Need to use the Intel Platform Flash Tool Lite.

    https://01.org/android-ia/downloads/intel-platform-flash-tool-lite

Make sure you install the Intel Android USB Drivers.

You run the Flash tool on a PC with the tablet connected via USB.  Browse for the downloaded firmware file and select it with the tool.  Then just flash it by pressing the button.

Android has Google Play but there is no way to get back to Windows.  Not sure if it was wiped out with the firmware update.

You can download Google Play store from the Chinese app store on the tablet (icon with the butterfly).  Open the app and search for google and it will come up.

Alternatively you can sideload the APK as well.  Download from:

    http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-store/

Then open the file to install.

Unfortunately for me, both methods install the play store but I always get the error:

“Unfortunately google play store has stopped”

Tried pretty much all the common methods to rectify this but none have worked (clear cache, stop/start app, factory reset, remove / add accounts).

So ended up just using it as a Windows tablet.  Perhaps you will have better luck than me.  For $100, I am really impressed with the tablet and if someone can figure out how to get the Play Store to work, the Ezpad 4SE would be an amazing deal considering it is a 10.6″ tablet.
