Using Linux Mint on Hi 10 is exactly the purpose I buy this tablet. I used to use lenovo 100s, which is based on atom 3735f, and it had the problem of 1.not recognizing interal keyboard and trackpad; 2.Wifi (also rtl8723bs); 3. No sound; 4. Battery always 100%
And the first problem can be fixed by upgrading kernel to 4.2.0+, but the other three problems cannot, or at least I didn’t managed to fix.
My Hi10 is still on shipping, but it seems that I cannot get a perfect linux tablet either…I am okay with no sounds, but battery status and wifi are extremely important for me as a working tablet. What a pity!!!
I am also thinking if there is any way to convert, or modify Android, to a normal desktop linux?? Can this be a new approach to solving the hardware compatibility?
