And I used an android app (like battery calibration or so) – it’s a lot of such stuff on Google playmarked. Charge to 100%, launch the app, start “calibration” button and used the tablet until it was competely empty. After recharge I’ve noticed the same discharging pattern, as me and Growl described above. So result is the same, using to different ways. ?

Don’t these apps (like your example “Battery Calibration”) need root access ? On the Google play store, first line of  description of Battery Calibration it says that it needs root. I thought the Tbook 10 could not be rooted at this moment (nobody seems to know how) so I skipped using these apps.

And indeed the result looks the same, that’s why I’m wondering… 😀

Interesting to hear, that you too encounter sudden reboots. Did I miss anything while reading through this thread: How do you do this battery-recalibrations? Do I get you right, you now have a 2.5 day sleep mode battery life? Windows I assume, as there is no sleep mode in android?

By sleep mode (in android) I just meant to shut the screen by just quick-pressing the power button. Sorry, I don’t know if there is another term to describe that. The tablet is still ON and receive notifications and such. If I let it like that, it can lasts for approximatively 2.5 days (WiFi On, bluetooth, localization and notifications from most battery-draining apps like Facebook Off). But the battery-discharge pattern is irregular as it discharges steadily from 100 to 21 % and then stay at 21 % for a long time. Then drops  quickly and shut down. I didn’t used the tablet during this time at all, I just put it aside and waited till the battery was empty.
I didn’t try Windows much, but before the calibration the battery dropped quite quickly and windows could not determine the time left on battery, probably because the battery wasn’t calibrated and the measure wasn’t accurate. I should look this up again.

To calibrate the battery, I was in Android mode. I waited as the tablet shuts down completly and tried several time to power it ON to be sure there was no battery left. Then I put a Samsung quick-charge 2.0 USB charger (one of a Galaxy Note 4, I didn’t trust the Teclast charger much in term of voltage steadiness), and switched on the tablet to let it charges with Android launched. It appears that the shut down of the tablet, when the battery was empty, was unexpected because Android made an “application optimization” process before starting up, the same you have when you put a fresh ROM and boot for the first time.
The USB charger was quite hot, more than when it charges my Note 4…
When the charge hit 100 %, I unplugged the charger, switch Off the tablet, and put the charger back in, and it keeped charging for about 30 mins with the tablet Off (you could see the red LED on). I switched On and Off the tablet and put the charger in again. There goes my calibration. Since then, the battery seems to last longer but as I said, the discharge pattern is still irregular.

I have exactely the same count 20713 using HWInfo. So I think it’s can’t be true (same cycles count in different batteries) and suppose to be a software issue. My battery works in about the same way – better lifetime on Win10 and pretty fast discharge using Android. After discharging to 7% – working very long on it (up to 2 hrs) and when fast drop to under 5% and switching off. I made battery calibration using android app, after that – this long-lasting phase moved to 21%. ? http://cs5-1.4pda.to/8228324/_20160613_011732.jpg?s=00042f6b81f28fe9575e820a000000008f8d215ca2f1afef1c48002036aa9f3a

I didn’t use HWInfo, however I processed exactly like you, with a battery calibration. That’s interresting because I obtained the exact same pattern with the discharge (pause at 7% before calibration and now 21 % after calibration). When it pauses, you can use the tablet for quite a long time before the battery suddendly drops and finally shuts down at around 3 %. Which means that without issues, the battery life expectancy could be actually quite good.
There is no informations in the battery usage menu in android, which is odd… Also, the battery discharges by itself when the tablet is in sleep, even if the wifi, localization and such are disabled. After a battery calibration, it can last for 2.5 days in sleep before the battery is empty, doing nothing. Annoying.

Pretty sure there is a software issue here, the ROM is rubbish AND the calibration wasn’t done properly I guess…

Except that, the tablet is working fine, I just have sudden rebooting issues from time to time, and the tablet is quite lazy to wake up when you press the power button but I can live with that…
