hi, I had a semilar problem with the partition. I have played with ubuntu and have destroyed the partition table. I thought I can use the flash images which can be found here – but the flash way doesn’t work. After one week I’ve found out why: (u)efi + grub. I’ve used the russian images, recommend by user tukull – here http://techtablets.com/forums/topic/heres-how-to-fully-restore-to-factory-win81-bing-android-4-4/

hi guys, just wanna say: THANKS! especially to tukull!
yeah, I played with ubuntu and destroyed the partition. After this action it was impossible to use the normal flash way. Therefore: thanks again!

(I can play with ubuntu now as much I like ? ah tip: If the start usb works – make an iso and save it.)

hi all, this happens to me too. I’ve tried already almost all drivers: from this site, from chuwi directly, from other sites, – nothing helps. Who has got an idea?  This has happened since the last Win 10 update in September 2015

and sorry for my English ;- ) . I’m from Spain. The good thing is that you don’t need to type any linux commands. Just some mouse clicks. I’m still impressed, because I have no idea about linux ;- ) And very important: Be sure your battery is full! (now I’ve got 2 posts. jeje)

    Hola all (my 1st post)
wow. sounds complicated, the manual via windows. It didn’t work for me. Too many steps to be done. I use this way:

    1. deactivate the secure boot
    2. I use the gparted to delete the windows partion.
    3. use the partion tool in gparted: 1. delete windows partion then 2. merge the android one (just choose the one with the biggest size. hehe. love linux. very simple. the formation calls ext-4, volume ‘data’)
