• Hi guys . So as stated i bought an micro hdmi cable and connected my tablet to an monitor…as aspected was booted in windows . I opened it up, used thin plastic tools and a t4 torx, and whats inside you can see in the pictures below. The battery is somewhat moving away from the screen whe you pull it up but not significant thats why i think it must have taken an serious hit while traveling from mother china to germany. Nevertheless i glued the battery corner with double sided tape and then more with ducktape. Hope it holds and there will be no problems because of the temp inside. While the cover was off i did turn on the tab…or try to bc was already on (must have press by mistake the power button while struggling with the cover) so if you do this with the tablet on its not going to die. I hope. Cover back ,power on and thats it. As for the tablet :gorgeous display, dissapointing windows experience, good android experience. In windows i watched or better to say i tried to watch an online movie and after 15 min the sound disappeared…as there were no speakers…driver without problems. From device manager i disabled the sound then enabled and i wanted to test it from device properties. It sayd that the audio is used by another program and audio test cannot be done. I changed sone settings then again disabled the audio from dev.man. and after that it worked. I thought ok one time problem and watched the movie weiter but after 15 mine same shi…  I switched to android and it worked flawless the entire movie.  When somebody has an idea it would be fantastic.

Hi all. I have received yesterday my hi12. I thougt that it would be better if i charge it first and then power it up. Said and done…but the screen remains black. I dont have a mini Hdmi cable, i will buy one today, to check if it really works on external monitor but i connected a usb stick and in the speakers coms the sound of connected device under win 10 i think. So it must be on when a device recognized is and powered. After i will check with the cable that the tablet really works i will shut it down and open it up to check the ” screen cable” if it gotten lose or whatever. Sending it back i think its not an option. Does anyone knows haow can you tell from serialnumber when it was manufactured..? I will write my experience with the disassembly and even pictures when i have time. Cheers.

In april ive ordered a hi12 dual os with keyboard ans i have paid for the EMS. I live in germany and it came in time not at home but rather in customs . I thought ok i muss pay the customs fees that wasnt a prob. They made me open tha package, came safe and sound by the way , and they checked everything : absence of german instructions, serial number, producer, model name, order number and so one. By inspecting the tablet they found the capacitive button in form on the small window . 20 seconds later after checking in computer they confiscated the tablet until further notice bc they have to check with microsoft representative if there’s any copyright infringement…. that blow my mind… i was speachless. Does anyone know something about this? Is it possible i will never get my tablet? Should i write to paypal so that i get my money back?
