If the wifi symbol only shows the X but no networks then you might be able to fix it by copying the file 43430r0nvram.txt to c:\windows\system32\drivers\ (restart required).
The file can be found in the wifi driver pack (A1P1.496WIFI.rar) under AP6212\WIFI
