    @AB

    sorry, use this tut, works without using usb

    http://techtablets.com/forums/topic/disabled-usb-ports-how-enable-again/Β  post #4 (thanks to UserAnon)

    saved also my ass

    1) get bios from the download section.
    2) mount EFI partition in windows.
    2.1) run cmd as admin. use diskpart. select disk 0. not sure about the partition number but it is around 100mb so that is the one. assign letter=x.
    2.2) navigate to drive x. copy the startup.nsh, H2OFFT-S.efi and bios.bin to the root of the EFI partition (you will need to run the explorer as admin too) –> you always only need to copy the three files to root, also when you use an usb-stick to upgrade
    3) fire up PC Settings, navigate to update and recovery then choose Advanced Startup wait for the options. Choose Use a device > Internal EFI Shell

    Tablet should boot in EFI startup console and there the startup should kick-in and start flashing the BIOS.

    this will work, i swear πŸ™‚

    @freeware

    the admin only moved the thread to the vi10-section in their board, thread was posted in other chewi-section in the board

    @AB

    you have to choose internal efi

    cant see any big changes in the bios, but its new πŸ™‚

    @@

    the bios has nothing to do with android, the bios is only used when you boot windows

    no need

    also hat probs after flashing

    look at your device manager if you have a unknown device (i hope you have one)

    if so, do this:

    boot up windows whit driver signature enforcement deactivated
    extract Chuwi Vi10 Touch Drivers Installer
    open device-manager
    you will see the unknown device
    right click on unknown device and choose driver update
    choose search computer for drivers
    choose/navigate to extracted Chuwi Vi10 Touch Drivers Installer folder
    let windows install the driver and boot

    maybe you have to do the steps form first tut again

    hope this works

    @Carlos

    no prob, all you had to do –> deactivate the driver signature enforcement

    a. Press the Win + C and click on PC settings.

    b. Switch over to the β€œUpdate & recovery” section.

    c. Then click on the Recovery option on the left hand side.

    d. Once selected, you will see an advanced startup section appear on the right hand side. You will need to click on the β€œRestart now” button.

    e. Once your Computer has rebooted you will need to choose the Troubleshoot option.

    f. Then head into Advanced options.

    g. Then Startup Settings.

    h. Since we are modifying boot time configuration settings, you will need to restart your computer one last time.

    I. Here you will be given a list of startup settings that you can change. The one we are looking for is β€œDisable driver signature enforcement”. To choose the setting, you will need to press the F7 key.

    when booted up, use theΒ Chuwi Vi10 Touch Drivers Installer from download section

    execute the Install.cmd as administrator

    boot again and voila
