I previously shared a thread about my positive UIF claim experience just before the lockdown. The initial payment was made within 10 days of my successful submission. After 31 days, I filed for a continuation of benefits. This happened during the chaos of TERS, fraud claims, and other disruptions. My first continuation request was rejected (it was within the 31-day window). I resubmitted, but from June onwards, nothing changed. I had heard about claim payments being suspended due to fraud issues. Today, I came across this thread and decided to check the status of my claim. To my surprise, I saw a payment was processed yesterday! Now, I’ll wait to see how much was paid and when I’ll need to file the next continuation.”
