I don’t even know if Teclast.es a TECLAST branch.
When I first was interested in buying an X98 Series Teclast, I found Teclast.es showing up on the “Buyproducts.html” of Teclast.com, as “Teclast authorized sales representative in Spain and Portugal”. On many Spanish tablet-related sites refer to it as a TECLAST on-line shop.

Visiting ‘http://www.teclast.es/teclast-en-espana/’, you will be told: “TECLAST.ES is a site where you can buy TECLAST devices for Spain with international versions for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). These versions are exclusively promoted by this site which will inform you of assigned lots. Besides you will get technical support and local warranty.” They will also tell you, their products are sold with a “European ROM”.

However the Spanish site only shows 4 Teclast products (P98 4G,T98 4G,X98 AIR 4G 64GB,X98 PLUS), promoting the X98-Series as
“Premium level” comparable to Samsung and Apple tablets.

I didn’t find any TECLAST tablets from the main Spanish and European on-line vendors nor from Chinese vendors with warehouses in Europe, but Bestgear had an Black Friday offer at $203 for the X98 PRO. I thus emailed teclast.es asking them for the availability of the European ROM to
eventually flash my device.

The answer was: “Teclast.es is not an on-line shop, we just promote TECLAST.” (4 products?) And: “flashing TECLAST devices is NOT possible”.

Due to this odd answer I did some more research on ‘teclast.es’

1. teclast.es is just a domain
2. teclast.es does not have a physical address.
3. teclast.es does not have a telephone number.
3. teclast.es does not have a legal tax identification number as a Spanish company
4. The domain was registered by a company named “INTERDEAL TECNOLOGIAS AVANZADAS S.L.”
5. This company has a Spanish Industrial Classification: 7490
(Other professional, scientific and technical activities, n.e.c.)
6. And the company’s corporate purpose is:
Technical services related to architecture and urban planning;
linear projects; prospecting and geological studies
7. This company does not run the site, as they declare in the privacy page,
they just support it.
8. The site is not compliant with Spanish (=European) legal requirements.

Conclusion: TECLAST SPAIN can hardly be a factory branch.
