    Same happened to me, I went all hype to root and installed Xposed on the Chuwi Hi8, turns out it really stuck in bootloop. (Even the Xposed app itself prompt me an warning before install) I used this method to get out from bootloop : http://wisdomgeek.com/android/how-to-disable-xposed-framework-on-boot/ 1- Power off the Hi8 by holding the the power button. 2- Power on the Hi8 by holding the power button, till I see the Chuwi / Android Logo. 3- Then I keep on pressing the power button (keep pressing, not holding), till I see the Android lockscreen, 4- Go to Xposed app, then under Framework , click uninstall the framework. 5- Now my Hi8 is back to normal again. Source says it only work on Xposed v2.5 or above, what a nice feature! I will try to install the Xposed again using the recommended method. Will report if success! Cheers!
