I have the hibook pro and am enjoying it but I think the screen has just too many pixels for the hardware.

If you’re not worried about absolute performance and like the GLASS beautiful panel I would say go for the hibook pro.

I think a better bet might be waiting a while and see who ports chrome OS to one of the faster core m3 machines.

Then you might be able to have Windows and chromeos and android apps.

You have to have root and even then the brightness settings won’t hold for more than about 20 minutes without reverting back.

It’s stuck at ’28’ and should be able to go right down to ‘2’ I think.

A guy on modaco forum is working on a fix for his Cyanogenmod 12 build.

Thanks for the quick reply. I bought a decent 2m usb C cable and I think i’ll just stick with that and my AUKEY quickcharger.

 

I totally agree the charger that came with the tablet is garbage. It gets hot and emits a high pitched whine at times. Dodgy.
