I found that you can solve this problem by installing the Intel chipset inf files.

Then the Intel XTU program. Undervolt the cpu and gpu by 50 millivolt.

Well, a week ago my Thinker completely died.

Same thing as you: Just a brief flash of the LED but no powering on.

So my husband said: I’ll try a solder reflow. He took the motherboard out, removed all plastic and rubbers, and put it in a pre-heated oven at 200C for 3 minutes. After that, he opened the oven door and let it cool.

He assembled it back and…. IT WORKS again! It also starts at once now, no more reboot the first time! 😀

If you don’t see the logo after 20 secs I certainly think it’s dead, or you might have a faulty power adapter.

    Try another 12V adapter.

When the logo appears keep hitting DEL.

I think I have the same issue. You have to be patient. After pressing the power button for 3 seconds, it may take up to 20 seconds for the logo to appear. Then it will reboot again and takes again a long time, but eventually it will boot into Windows.

If you don’t turn the laptop off, but only in Windows sleep mode, it turns on immediately (obvious), but of course drains the battery…

    Really wondering what’s going on.
