Teclast F7 Plus Review

Tecalst’s F7 is one of the best Apollo Lake N3450 laptops, so it’s no surprise the successor the F7 Plus is also one of the best Gemini Lake laptop’s seen along with the Lapbook SE. Essentially this is the Lapbook SE, only slightly bigger (14″ Vs 13.3″) and with a non-laminated 250 lux bright IPS screen. I wasn’t expecting this as the Lapbook SE has a fully laminated IPS panel. Better yet would have been a matte IPS screen, but it is at least a brighter panel, 50 lux more than the Lapbook SE.

But overall the laptop is the same, ever so slightly better speakers and most importantly 8GB of DDR4 2133Mhz RAM where the Lapbook SE from Chuwi is stuck with only 4GB of RAM. With a copper heatsink mod, thermal pad and no power limit this laptop feels more like a Core i3 or older Core i5 laptop until you try to edit 4k video or play a demanding game. For light office work, light old games it’s fine. Below is the full video review and unboxing of the Teclast F7 Plus. Rating is also below.
