Hi all,
I am looking at the new iwork10 model (z8300, 64gb,full hd 10.1″ with stylus support). I am just wondering what are the chances I’ll ever see a dual boot on this model? I’m waiting a while for the teclast x98 dual but it takes too long. Figured cube would probably be a better choice if I don’t get dual boot. The camera seems better on the x98 plus and the screen is a bit sharper but I hear Chris praises Cubes quality and stylus support is nice. What do you think ? It sells now for 188$
December 25, 2015 at 8:31 am #19876Hi,
Cube’s build is normally quite good, but the stylus on this new model is not a Wacom one, but an active stylus similar to the Dell Venue 11 Pro series. If it’s the same, it’s not as good as the Wacom ones. I doubt it will get dual boot later, it seems most MFG’s are selling just Windows versions now. I think Teclast has the most chance to later release a dual boot bios and the files needed.
I’m not sure the Cube iwork10 will be free of heat issues most Z8000’s have, will need some hands on time with it to push it hard and see. Hopefully, it’s a good system.

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30December 25, 2015 at 12:59 pm #19890Thank you Chris!
BTW, Teclast just answered me that the X98 Plus Dual Boot will be out end of January 2016. I guess I’ll wait for it then.
December 25, 2015 at 9:11 pm #19941Thats good news. Both very different tabelts, 4:3 without keyboard Vs 16:9 with a keyboard dock.

December 26, 2015 at 8:47 am #19979For me , without 4G is better s the tax is doubled here ifthe device can transmit cellular data (if customs catch it). 17% vs 35%.
January 8, 2016 at 9:10 pm #21597I´m planning to get this tablet, but I´ve never purchase a chinese tablet before and I´m am quite scared about it. Just waiting for some reviews!
January 12, 2016 at 1:01 pm #22031I’ve just ordered an iWork 10, so I’ll be interested to find out what stylus it does take. I’ll be mildly bummed if it isn’t Wacom, that’ll mean another stylus to keep tabs (ironic pun!) on. I’m not a fan of the single-angle keyboard/dock for the 10.6″ one and the one in the promo pictures isn’t being sold anywhere…
January 14, 2016 at 11:11 am #22309I don´t understand a word, but I found the first review/unboxing on Youtube. Looks like the installed Windows 10 version is the 64 bits one; the tablet uses the 4 gb RAM properly.
1) I have a question about the keyboard. Someone knows if I can use this tablet along with this product?
2) Do you know if Cube sells tablet batteries separately?
Thank you!
January 15, 2016 at 12:28 am #22384Gearbest have also posted a video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQi-XErL1O0, and at 2:05 it confirms that it’s 64-bit OS. Yay. Doesn’t show the stylus or give any hint of what type it is, though. Aha! Cube Russia has also posted a video, and it’s *Wacom*. Ticking all of my boxes so far. I hope the user experience lives up to the promise.

Thank you for sharing the video! I will get it after the release of the keyboard dock. Where did you get the tablet?

Chris, will you review the cube iwork 10 ultimate? I have seen that there are 2 versions aparently. The 2/32 Gb version with lower resolution 1280×800 which i have seen at gearbest and some other stores with 2 full sized usb ports, and the 4/64 Gb version with higher resolution 1920×1200 with only one micro usb 3.0 port and another micro usb for charging which apears in the video that made gearbest. Do you know the true specs of this model? Thanks

link to the 4/64 version: http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_280534.html
Also attached a link from a aliexpress seller with pictures of the 64/4 Gb and the keyboard for both, which looks very nice actually:

Banggood claims it does not support Wacom stylus. http://forum.banggood.com/forum-topic-126944.html
Is there any good tablet with confirmed wacom support, 4gb of ram, laptop-style keyboard dock and price tag around 200$?
January 25, 2016 at 2:38 pm #23623This is the only place I found where I can order the tablet with the stylus. Or did someone see it anywhere?
Chris, when you plan to release the test of the iWork 10? You already ordered it, didn’t you?
January 26, 2016 at 12:50 pm #23827The listing description states screen protector, he doesn’t actually have the stylus, nor does he know which stylus the iwork10 takes.
Wacom is due to release a new pen (bamboo smart) similar to the n-trig pen technology, but only being released in Feb. I wonder if they are all waiting for this http://www.winbeta.org/news/ces-2016-wacom-introduces-surface-pen-like-stylus-supported-windows-10-devices
Sadly, those that have released reviews seem to be more concerned about the keyboard, and fail to mention anything with regard to the stylus. I’m about to pull the trigger on this, anyone had experience with So Cube on Aliexpress?
