    an EZBook 2 you say
    3 months you say
how much have you payed ? 150 Euro or less?
Take the 25 Euro on paypal
open up and disconnect battery cable and keyboard cable (biggest flat band cable inside) carefully lift black holding clip, it flips upwards 90 degrees)
    reconnect keyboard cable only.
plug in and try to start

    Dear Chupa,

I took my laptop to a local repair shop -in my hometown in Spain- to open it up and do all the testings as you suggested. This not seem to solve the problem. My laptop still dead. The repairer suggest to use the aftersale service-warranty of the Seller.

So I am afraid I am gonna have to send it back to Geekbuying headquarters in China for repairing.

Please, I need help in how to address the issue by paypal since it has not expired the protection period (180 days). However, I don´t seem to see any causes to open a dispute: 1) item not received; 2) Received a different from the one shown in the ad; 3) other issues related with the payment.

Any comments, insights and previous experiences with this seller (Geekbuying) are very welcome.

    Kind regards.

I had to return a laptop with Geekbuying and luckily for me, they had or have a local Spanish return location. I think it was in Valencia. Same deal it was a dead Tbook laptop I bought from them. In the end, I got a refund but it took some time.

Thank you very much Chris for your reply.

I also hired the Local Return Service (to the spanish warehouse), however, as far as Geekbuying´s support service advice me, it is only possible if there is a problem within 7 days from the date of the reception. This is not my case since I have the product for more than 3 months.

Anyways, as I said before, the protection period of paypal (180 days) has not expired yet. Anyone can help me to address the dispute using Paypal?? Any other insights are very welcome.
    Thank you very much again.
    Kind regards,
