Hi you all!!!
I am sorry to report a problem in my laptop Jumper Ezbook 2. It worked fine the first 3 months but recently it wont power on. I am not able to boot it. It’s like the battery has run out of battery. The 3 dots leds wont turn on. I tried to charge the laptop for more than 6 hours a couple of times but the LED next to to the plug doesnt flash either. I also followed the indications of Chris in this thread with no luck at all: https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/ez-book-wont-power-on/
At the beggining I thought it was the original charger, that is why I purchased a new one but the problem remains the same: it won’t power on.
I have recorded a video to show you all the problem. Please, watch the following youtube video from my account: https://youtu.be/a_ELGuZCeJgI tried to contact GEEKBUYING for aftersale service. First they offered a reimbursement of $25 to fix it myself in a local place. They recommend me to get it fixed without oppening back cover,or I would lose the warranty. After that, I told them that this was not a good solution; So they offered me to send it back to China for repairing with his warranty policies which means: 1) I pay the shipping cost to China; 2) They won´t cover any problem with the motherboard; 3) As you all know, this repairing service is pure scam as they take ages to repair the item if they ever do.Luckily for me I paid my purchase by paypal. I am thinking of opening a Claim on paypal since it has not expired the protection period (180 days). However, I don´t seem to see any causes to open a dispute: 1) item not received; 2) Received a different from the one shown in the ad; 3) other issues related with the payment.I don´t know what to do. Anyone has been in this situation?? What would you do if you were in my shoes?? Please I need you to help me addressing this situation.Thank you in advance.Kind regards,August 3, 2018 at 2:17 pm #145106an EZBook 2 you say

I took my laptop to a local repair shop -in my hometown in Spain- to open it up and do all the testings as you suggested. This not seem to solve the problem. My laptop still dead. The repairer suggest to use the aftersale service-warranty of the Seller.
So I am afraid I am gonna have to send it back to Geekbuying headquarters in China for repairing.
Please, I need help in how to address the issue by paypal since it has not expired the protection period (180 days). However, I don´t seem to see any causes to open a dispute: 1) item not received; 2) Received a different from the one shown in the ad; 3) other issues related with the payment.
Any comments, insights and previous experiences with this seller (Geekbuying) are very welcome.
Kind regards.
September 3, 2018 at 11:19 am #146398I had to return a laptop with Geekbuying and luckily for me, they had or have a local Spanish return location. I think it was in Valencia. Same deal it was a dead Tbook laptop I bought from them. In the end, I got a refund but it took some time.

I also hired the Local Return Service (to the spanish warehouse), however, as far as Geekbuying´s support service advice me, it is only possible if there is a problem within 7 days from the date of the reception. This is not my case since I have the product for more than 3 months.
Anyways, as I said before, the protection period of paypal (180 days) has not expired yet. Anyone can help me to address the dispute using Paypal?? Any other insights are very welcome.Thank you very much again.Kind regards,November 7, 2018 at 6:55 pm #147983not much help from PP try your original dealer
