Jumper EZbook/P313R, BIOS JUMPER10x.P8.WP313R.NHNAUHN02 08/07/2017 via my full dmesg output.
Jumper EZbook/P313R, BIOS JUMPER2x.P8.WP313R.NHNAUHN05 09/30/2017 via another user.
So far I have not seen any problems with the keyboard. What are the problems some people are reporting?
So far the only problems I see, which are both only on Linux, are the WiFi reception is poor and the touchpad locks up.
Both problems are inconsistent – sometimes it works.  The touchpad works 99% of the time with kernel 4.14 (from testing so far).
I’m hoping to find a solution to the wifi problem – another driver or some kind of configuration changes – or possibly it’s an issue between my cheap N-router.

I would never try flashing the BIOS unless it was with tools provided by Jumper. Too dangerous for me.  By the way, the company seems to have no formal discussion forum (like Chuwi)?  Or I cannot find it.  If true that is really lame.

Here´s the bios file if someone wants to look at it. It´s V5 so no power limit settings and keyboard lags.

I have a v1, v4 (no lag keyboard) and v5 ezbook 3 pro (sandisk ssd). Keyboard lag on v5 is really annoying so maybe we could flash v4 bios to v5.  I made a backup of v4 bios with AFUWin AptioV – you can find it in the attachment.

So far I have not seen any problems with the keyboard. What are the problems some people are reporting?

The keyboard lag is the most obvious when using two keys at the same time  – like adjusting brightness FN+F9/F10 or volume… It takes like 5s and is laggy as hell…

Hey guys. I am new to this board.

Just received my EZBook 3 Pro with a BIOS from November. So no chipset settings and no chance to speed up the eMMC (but I have to admit the eMMC from SANDISK is pretty quick)  or disable speed limit.
But I must say I have no issues with my keyboard. No lags or something. So would this be v6 of the BIOS or did I miss something?

Anyhow, is V4 the BIOS with the possibilty to disable speed limit, speed up the eMMC and no keyboard lags/issues?
Could you tell me how to flash this BIOS on my EZBook? Would be really nice.
    I already downloaded  the Aptio_V_AMI_Firmware_Update_Utility.

Thanks in advance and best regards from Germany.

    Hi,

Hey guys. I am new to this board. Just received my EZBook 3 Pro with a BIOS from November. […] So would this be v6 of the BIOS or did I miss something?

FWIW, I own 2 jumper EZbook 3 pro : one with 09/30/2017 BIOS (usually described as v5) and one more recent with 11/06/2017 BIOS which seem to be same as yours. I opened both laptop to check PCB and they are slightly different (I’ll try to find time to share pictures if someone is interrested) but it seems that all internals are still the same (I compared hardware list using tools).

My issue with my v4 is that touchpad and suspend/resume don’t work under linux, so I’ll test a firmware upgrade or downgrade…

    Regards and Happy new year

    Hi,

Using tool and method described in the other post, I tried to downgrade my BIOS from v5 to v4. The bios flashing tool refused because the bios id of the v4 image was different from the bios id of my laptop (mine is 3BANS002 while v4 is 3BANS010). I then checked on the other laptop I own (the one that I will call v6 which bios from 11/06/2017) and bios id is same as v4. As only the v5 has a different bios id I decided to force a bios downgrade anyway… but now my laptop is bricked: it no more boots. The power led light on but nothing happen, screen stays black.

I’m trying to find a way to put it back to life but that doesn’t seem easy.

So it seems that v4 has something slightly different that other versions.

FWIW, I can share bios dump of v6.

    Regards
