Anyway to replace the Touchpad?

I have a EZbook v2 or 3 (don’t quite remember). I love everything about it except the touchpad, it’s horrible. I was wondering if I could actually replace the touchpad with a comparable one from either a newer EZbook or from a completely different machine. If so, how could I get my hands on one / how to install it. I’d be happy to document my experience if it is not too challenging.
