I’m having problems with my Teclast X98 Plus II, now only work for ± 1 hour. Same duration in Windows and Android. When I buyed it, only some months ago, it give me 4-5 screen hours. I did Android factory reset, and tried the method discharging full battery from boot screen too, but it did not resolved the problem. I don’t open the Tablet yet, but, it’s possible that one of two batteries is disconnected? Any ideas? Thanks.
There is only one connection from the battery pack to the Teclast motherboard.
You would have to remove some of the insulation from the battery pack to check the individual cell connections.
June 3, 2017 at 4:01 pm #67726Yes, yesterday I did open the tablet and saw the unique connection. Inside is all very sealed. I think is difficult that a cable is unconnected there.
Probably is other type of problem…, Perhaps it’s bad battery calibration, or it’s damaged battery, but, i dont used the tablet very much, in this case, i don’t understand why it was damaged as soon.
June 16, 2017 at 2:54 pm #68231Someone with the same problem? Now the tablet only work for 1 hour of Netflix or YouTube with the minimal bright, and take only 1 hour to recharge to get 100% again. Same windows/Android.
June 20, 2017 at 7:17 pm #68354I do not understand much of electronics, I upload a couple of images of the batteries of the tablet. From one of the batteries only 1 cable comes out, can someone tell me if this is correct?

The cells connect to the charger pcb with the flat silver-coloured tabs.
I’m pretty sure I see the top cell connections, but your pictures aren’t clear enough for me to identify the bottom cell connections.
July 7, 2017 at 1:52 pm #68842I finally opened it and could see that there was another cable in the bottom.
After test during 15 days with AccuBattery, the result is that my battery has 1500 Mah, same on windows, a disaster. I did not get Teclast to tell me which battery to buy to replace this shit that they sold me, neither Gearbest gives me more solution than $15 compensation or send the tablet to China for repair, something that costs me at least $50 and later pay again import cost.
Despite this, the tablet is fantastic, and works great. It is really very stupid, not make a perfect product, without failures of this type as does Xiaomi for almost the same price. There is a dualboot market with good quality without exploding.
Bread for today hungry tomorrow, another brand to forget.July 9, 2017 at 2:45 pm #68987How long have you got a tablet?

September 13, 2017 at 7:58 pm #72087Sorry, I bought replacement in a local market, but I’m living now in Argentina, here all is very expensive. I paid 23$ for the new battery. A shipment to other country sure will cost 30$ more. The battery is Mbell, perhaps you can search for it in other place in your country.
November 14, 2021 at 9:06 am #222162As I can see on the web, Teclast uses cheap batteries in their tablets and laptops.
My Teclast F6 Plus is only 1 year old and the battery is at 35% of its original capacity. Discharge/full charge did nothing. I also disconnected the battery for 10 minutes. No improvement.
Whatever I tried, nothing worked. I have to buy another battery, no choice.
Damn Chineses !!!! Always cutting the corners somewhere to sell cheaper.
