I have the Jumper Ez book 3 pro and it’s really great but.. I’m realizing 13.3″ is too small for me. What would you guys consider the best budget 15.6 inch laptop with larger battery and precision touch pad, 1080 resolution to be. Does it exist? I checked on gear best and they still most have the Atom processor for this type of laptop I’m looking for. Looks like larger than 13 inch isn’t as popular.
November 7, 2018 at 2:29 pm #147958If you are looking for the best budget laptop right now, you could do no wrong than to consider Xiaomi Notebook 15.6 (without the PRO). It is around 759.99 US Dollars right now with the latest 8th Gen Quad-Core processor and a discrete NVIDIA MX 110 2 GB Graphics. You have to be vigilant though because November 11 (11.11) sales are fast ending and depending on the online store you purchase, you may catch other discounts or promo BUT after this period, the price would definitely go up by around 100 USD or back to its regular price again.
Just keep in mind that there might be shipping charges and depending where you ship it to, customs taxes. By the way, the 15.6 Notebook PRO model adds another 70 USD to the price with basically the same internals but higher capacity SSD but only Intel integrated Graphics . Goodluck.
November 7, 2018 at 4:42 pm #147959agree with the xiaomi recommendation but i would go with the pro version instead, subscribe to the newsletter from gearbest and it will regularly go for under 800USD.
the non pro model is still rather new and there is still a markup tacked to it, at equivalent specs(CPU and ram) the pro will cost $50-80 more but for the price you will get 128gb more of ssd storage(albeit you will lose the 1tb hdd), fingerprint sensor, much better battery life and not to mention a GPU which is actually usable.
November 7, 2018 at 6:38 pm #147972Thanks guys. I see the pro is on sale for $800 now. It’s a nice machine for sure but I forgot to mention in the post I prefer a matte finish – glossy drives me nuts. Especially don’t see the point of a glossy screen when it isn’t a touch screen
