January 8, 2016 at 9:21 pm #21598i dont even get that on the other ports , just usb power on the other ports.
January 8, 2016 at 10:21 pm #21601It’s what I mean, little flash of the light for power but the key not initialize…..
January 11, 2016 at 4:02 am #21866Same issue here: Blank Screen after make some changes in the BIOS.
Battery charges (orange blinking)
Tablet initiates (USB powered, checked with USB HUB with led)
Long press power button (10+ seconds) power off the tablet.I know for sure Windows is not starting cause the router never assign an IP to the tablet. (The connection was configured as automatically)
January 11, 2016 at 5:06 am #21868Same issue here. I’m ordering some IC loop to try to SPI rewrite the bios with a Raspberry PI but will not get them before 2-3 weeks. So, I just hope Chuwi going to have another solution before receiving them.
January 19, 2016 at 6:19 pm #23026I shut down my tablet with Windows. After the tablet was shut down, I wanted to restart. Nothing, no orange LED, no BIOS screen. So I wrote VCLemon (vcMall) and they gave me 3 options:
- Ship back + New Tabler + Seller pays shipping fee (about 60$)
- Ship back + Refund + Seller pays 20$ shipping fee
- Keep it + 20$ refund
What should I choose? And what can I do with my data on my tablet? I wan’t to erease before shipping back, any idea?
Greetings 🙂
January 21, 2016 at 7:54 am #23201i only have usb power nothing else.
My seller advised to fully discharge tablet by using it to charge phone for example.
And after that bios must resets to default.
January 23, 2016 at 9:38 pm #23482Anyone had any luck yet?
January 23, 2016 at 9:52 pm #23483Hi pascal
I got over 70 euro refunded without sending the tablet via a dispute I opend for a vageu screen and the slow charging.
DONT EVER agree on such low terms as you are describing there. You have the right to get more.
January 25, 2016 at 10:18 am #23590Anyone figure out a quick way to reset the bios?
I’ve tried discharging the battery fully, and recharging.
I’ve tried re-flashing bios but not 100% its working as I can’t see anything.Any chance opening it up and disconnecting the battery for a while would do the trick?
Getting more and more resigned to the fact that I have a €200 lump of plastic now.
January 25, 2016 at 3:30 pm #23627The only way to reset bios is to flash it using programmer.
January 30, 2016 at 1:21 am #24370I try to flash mine yesterday with a raspberry Pi and the bios is freeze in readonly mode…. so I will have to exchange it…..
February 1, 2016 at 5:39 pm #24705Sorry for the question, was a little fault of you or was it on readonly modus until you began?
