Buy rev1 or Rev2?

Hi

Had the rev1 of this tablet before, but had to send it back because it died, got a refund and have been looking around a bit what to order, but i keep getting back to this tablet because of the pricing compared to the spec and build quality.

So, anyone else share Hans complaints in the other thread? Or was he unlucky with his tablet?

I’m thinking about ordering this tablet in Rev2 (still have the keyboard and tampered glass)

• cheap and slow Toshiba/Hynix eMMC, 30-50% slower than the Samsung MMC in rev1. The Toshiba has around 30MB/s write speed, where Samsung one has 77MB/s
• So far had lots of bluescreens, mostly related to the Realtek Wifi driver, also had some freezes yet in Windows while sticking in a USB pen

Decide on your own I guess? If those things I mentioned up there are irrelevant to you, then buy rev2, if not, but rev1 or other tablet.

Just curios if everyone with Rev2 experience the same things as you did.

Mine runs fine and I don’t have any issues, but I do wish I’d gotten the version with the full sized USB3 port.  I don’t own any type-c devices.  I wanted the faster charging and since it doesn’t really do that and I don’t have the devices to use it, it’s a waste for me.  You combine that with the fact that a bunch of the internals on the rev1 are faster, like the RAM and Storage, and it makes more sense to have rev 1 for me.  Live and learn.

I will pick non-C.  Because it is not a true “type c” connection, charging is VERY slow

Charging was very slow on the rev1 I had as well. U experienced the same things Hans did with your tablet?

I am comparing to real type c device. Charging is slow on this tablet period. However, this tablet does not have a real type c connector, it is basically a type C to micro USB converter. As a result of its charge is SLOW and is not comparable to a real type c device. So basically the type c connector is only for show and does not have any benefit.
