I think the person you were talking about was me 😛 I wrote about Vivaldi in the review thread from what I remembered. And yes, I still think that Vivaldi is a good web browser compared to many other web browsers.
But I recently found out about a new web browser which is even 3 times faster (!) than Vivaldi and takes the least RAM, least CPU usage, least everything.
I don’t even think any other web browsers can beat this browser in term of speed and light weight (maybe only text based web browser).
This browser I’m talking about is: Maxthon Nitro.I don’t think anyone will be disappointed after trying out this browser. It’s just too good, it fits chuwi Hi12 perfectly and I never had any lags on it – like at all.
The only downside is that it’s very small browser so no extra settings, plugins, etc.
But if you want extra settings, plugins ,then you should use Maxthon 5. It’s a bigger cousin of Maxthon Nitro but still faster than Vivaldi and ofc Edge, Chrome, Opera, etc, you name it.
Source: I got so desperate to find a light weight browser for Hi12 that I spent days downloading every light weight browsers out there and compare it with percentage of RAM, CPU, etc until I found Maxthon Nitro.
Once you go Nitro, you never go back.

August 11, 2017 at 4:02 pm #70472Hi,
I am a long time opera user. (something like 10 years) first on NOKIA and Windows and then on all my Android devices. I just say that I almost never had a problem with it. ( except for some banking applications which are picky and support only Microsoft, Google and Apple). I have used it on my Chuwi 12 since I got it both on the Android side as well as on the Windows. I currently use it on 3 Windows devices 3 Android devices and even on two IOS one. everything get perfectly synched and try browser is quite fast with some option to save data transmission. Now it takes quite of a level of expertise to work out all the settings and get the most out of it.
