I’m another from so many bricked Chuwi Hi10 owners (Chuwi Hi10 V300 hardware revision, serial 15xxxxx) who reflashed the BIOS and the tablet is back to Life! ?
Info about the fix is here: http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/bricked-trying-bios-update/page/7/#post-44941

August 14, 2017 at 6:27 am #70549Credits @ kravmama1 : Post http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/potential-solutions-to-some-hi10-issues/ Background: My Hi10 Does not have charging light , Can power up devices by USB, Similar to video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nd79w_wTln4 Before that , my charger was left charging with a xiaomi charger , sold in singapore (UK PLUG), Did not do absolutely anything for about 1-2 days , but it was warm so i guess it was still charging. Also , the tablet when turned on was Fully Charged… What I Did Roughly in sequence : Step 1 : Hold power and Volume Button for 15 seconds ( By kravmama1) Step 2 :Disconnect keyboard and all other devices including power cord. Hold power button for 2 minutes, release 30 sec, then press power button again for 5-10 seconds. ( BY kravmama1) Step 3 : Vaguely remember hit random button either Power + Volume Down or both, it suddenly powers up I cannot confirm it will work for all cases , but at least it works for mine , just thought i shared it with you guys , If you have manage to got it resolved~ do post your sequence of steps that you took! Will update the steps if others have found new ways to power it up! So do post it!
Thank you! This worked for me. It powered on after 5 seconds of holding down the power and both volume buttons.
May 18, 2018 at 8:45 pm #143136Hi guys,
I had this problem this week.
Long story short: I’ve deleted the android partitions in my Chuwi Hi10 pro and re-instaled Windows. Spent a good few day trying to gather all the drives and make them work. Finally, one day after I get it right, it doesn’t boot at all. No charging led. Nothing.
Important detail: When I’ve shut it down the night before, it has about 5 to 8 percent battery.
Looked up for some solutions and even thought about open it up and unplug/re-plug the battery, but what made it alive again was charge with my Asus Zenfone 2 charger.
I let it charging for about 4 hours and when I tryed again, it booted in the first attempt, with 100% battery.
The charger has the “quick charging” feature, but only for Zenfone devices. The normal voltage is 5v with 2a.
I thought it would be helpful let my case here for future issues with other people.
Thanks.
Ps.: Sorry any english misspelings.
