Go to settings -> Application and uninstall Google Search. That is all 🙂 Work for me.
September 23, 2015 at 6:25 pm #11849How to uninstall? I’m only be able to deactivate it.
Issue still there also with google search disabled 🙁
September 25, 2015 at 2:54 pm #11910I have done:
Root the tablet
Install titanium backup
uninstall Google search
The problem still there. If i play a video on youtube, after few seconds pause and play itself. Like pressing a pause/play button on headset.
Work only with bluetooth headset 🙁
December 1, 2015 at 2:38 pm #17200Great news!
I’ve got it!
After lot of hour of studying this issue, i have found that the headphone/jack send a Keycode to the system, like pressing a button on a headset. This keycode corresponding at HEADSETHOOK function that will play and stop youtube videos. I have changed this keycode to another!
We must have root access and edit this file located in /system/usr/keylayout/baytrailaudio_Intel_MID_Audio_Jack.kl
from
key 256 HEADSETHOOK WAKE
to
key 256 FOCUS
With this mod, issue fixed!
Next step, for my knowledge and for optimize this solution, is that i want to disable completely the headset recognition, i want to force only the headphone connection, but i don’t know where to start. May be recompile the kernel? how to do it?
Thanks!
December 1, 2015 at 8:07 pm #17246This works, interesting solution. Nice work!
December 14, 2015 at 2:45 pm #18580I have noticed this behavior as well. Although it only happens when the tablet is charging. When I disconnect the charging cable, earphones work normally. Both regular earbuds and those with stop/play button and mic. Anyone else notice this? I will try the fix mentioned earlier and see if that solves the issue

Try downloading soundabout from play store. With this app I can use my headphones.
July 5, 2016 at 1:10 pm #42675Hi all. I found new solution. Buy USB to jack audio adapter (or DIY, there is no electronic elements, just simple cable) . Micro USB has audio signal in standard. In my chuwi Hi8 it works fine. Connect your headset to adapter instead in build-in jack.
