It is a Chuwi Unicorn, seen in mythical form here in April in a strange land called HongKong:
October 21, 2017 at 10:16 am #73724I am afraid of that. It looks like a Surface 3 clone with updated innards. Also, Ubuntu appears to be an option (this really is my unicorn). It was sighted at HK Consumer Electronics Expo this month. I have a Google alert set up and will report back with anything. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

November 1, 2017 at 12:51 am #74231I’ll add it to the site soon and maybe review this one. Looks okay, OGS screen, 3:2 ratio. But only 4GB of RAM and not the typical 6GB with this Apollo Lakes I’ve come to expect.

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30November 1, 2017 at 6:58 am #74238True. I was a little disappointed about the ram and ideally I’d want 128gb of storage. But it’s impossible to find this form factor. I love the 3:2 ratio for a 10-11 inch screen, just wish it was more popular.

That doesn’t bother me much. The lower res screen should provide a snappier performance and I never use a stylus. My biggest issue is that the storage is eMMC and only 64 gb, sure RAM could be higher but not a deal breaker. What is a deal breaker is if it can run Linux or not since the original SurBook, when Chris tested it, could not. I hope other brands like Alldocube or Jumper make a clone of this; I love the 3:2 aspect ratio on a 10 inch screen.

Yeah I have heard about the Knote, but the ll.6″ screen is a bit too big for a tablet IMO and it doesn’t have the 3:2 aspect ratio I covet.
November 7, 2017 at 6:56 pm #74545Is the battery size (27.38Wh) really only going to give about 3.3 hours of internet usage? That is pathetic if its true.
November 12, 2017 at 5:44 pm #74798I want to buy it but im worried about the battery duration. Its true 3 hours of battery with a 8000 mha capacity? Do you prefer this or jumper ezpad 6 plus (6 gb ram, 9000 battery, cheaper)?

My perfect tablet would be a MS Surface 3 clone with the cube mix plus innards and 8 hour battery life. More ram would be better. Though I would be completely fine with the ezpad specs if it had a 3:2 aspect ratio, kickstand and typecover. I’m gonna play wait n see, hopefully the other Chinese brands jump on the 10 inch 3:2 aspect ratio bandwagon.
November 13, 2017 at 3:59 pm #74830I’m confused. Is possible just 3 hours of battery with the Surbook mini? It’s incredible. So bad! Any can confirm this?

Chris stated somewhere it will be more like 6 hours of screen on time, not sure if that’s light or moderate usage tho.
