I used the method above to get ROOT successfully. I have a few additions to make
– …– Type “ACCEPT” – Check if device status and device information are OK, ( Screen should be cyan if ok and red if not. Refresh status by hitting enter. Remember if you get device status as unauthorised then go back to tablet and grant access. Screen will go cyan after if approval is given ) then type “T3″ the script will run . I got a fail at one point but it still booted in CWM. – …– Reboot !
I also got my tablet rootet by this method, but i think the IntelAndroid-FBRL has changed. Between “ACCEPT” and the “T3” step, there is another selection needed (i think it has something to do to choose between CWM or TWRP). I think i choose option “3” in this new selection.
If i manage to get to this selection window again, i will post a screenshot.
BTW: is there a simple method to “unroot” the tablet?

Hi I tried it with the Chuwi Hi12 (DualBoot) everything works, but it doesn’t flash Recovery. When it shows up “Flash /tmp/recovery zip” it shows as add “is prohibited in verified state”.

I have experienced exactly the same as you when I tried this on my chuwi hi12. It seems the bootloader on the hi12 is not unlocked. Please let me know if you found other way to root it. Thanks.

U can unlock Bootloader in developement options, than this option works, but it fucks up my tablet, Recovery is ultra slow, touch screen doesn’t work and if flash supersu via mousepad it ends in bootloop. :/ But it’st step in the right direction I gues.

Thank for your hints, sorry to hear that , I don’t wanna fuck up mine. Hope you can reflash the stock rom.
Are you still finding a way to root it? I am too really want it to be rooted. Please share if you find anything to root the hi12, thanks.
