Sorry for cross-posting from the Teclast-part of the forum. As some Jumper have the same case as the Teclast F7 – fully metal -, my question on how to disassemble the screen, which has a metal(!) bezel (not plastic), fits in here as well:
I bought a Teclast F7 and is has a defective screen (screen is mostly pink if notebook is powered on). WIth an external Display connected to the miniHDMI I figured out, that the Teclast itsself works fine – besides of the defective screen.
I tried to figure out, if there is a way how to disasseble the screen, to see which one it is (part number, manufacturer) and if I can get a replaemnet screen.
Couldn’t figure that out! I did find two Youtube-tutorials for disassembling the sceen of a Ezbook. But there the screen bezel is of plastic and not of metal, as we have it with the Teclast F7. I could not reproduce the steps of these tutorials with the metal bezel of the Teclast F7.
Did anyone successfully manage to disassemble the screen of an Teclast F7 (or any equaliy built Ezbook – meaning with a metal bezel on the screen)?
