That’s rather strange. Thanks for warning.
If I recall correctly someone here mention something about tempered glass screen protector and keyboard dock. Maybe CUBE thought that if you have keyboard dock then you don’t need screen protector even if having both is much better solution.
April 30, 2016 at 10:36 am #35610heh, don’t get me wrong i’m not racist or anything but the more i interact with chinese people the more i think they are not very bright or at the very least they are extremely approximative with the stuff they do and like to play dumb (or rather, flat out retarded)

Totally agree with that man!
April 30, 2016 at 12:24 pm #35619Sorry, but those comments, are in fact inappropriate if not racists. You cannot generalize the Chineses, of the Indians, or the British, or the French… When you buy a 200 buck product you cannot expect perfect design, which by the way doesn’t exist when you look at a 1000$ Apple. The basic info was useful the tempered glass doesn’t adjust with the keyboard. May be it should be used only by those who use the product in Tablet mode. If you have the keyboard it protects the screen by itself. Last point the Chinese are not dumb they have a different culture and we have a different understanding of business practices. If we want to benefit from their low prices, buy direct and don’t want to use other sales channels we should be prepared to have some communication problems. As says the French saying ” you cannot have the butter and the money of the butter”
now the real question I am interested in is: Is The cube iwork 10 ultimate a good and reliable product?
It’s on my short list for a dual boot hybrid tablet but I have not made my mind yet.

April 30, 2016 at 6:25 pm #35657Hi, my iwork10 is still in transit from China and I bought said protector. Is there any other way to protect the screen while maintaining keyboard functionality? I’m thinking about buying a plastic protector, but like I said I still don’t have the tablet so I don’t know the shape I should be looking for.

May 2, 2016 at 3:57 am #35778Wish I knew this a few days ago before ordering one I did however order an off brand version (i think? it was via ebay) of tempered glass if i get any success or not i will post about it.
May 2, 2016 at 10:44 am #35796Hi @Flubski, thanks for the warning.
Regrettably, I have already ordered tempered glass (already somewhere on the road), and frankly, I can not imagine that I would use a tablet without it.
What specifically is the problem?
1) Can not at all inserted into the dock?
2) The problem with closed / collapse keyboard?in Issue 1) can not help when installing the glass move it slightly higher, so it does not obstruct insertion into the dock?
Alternatively it to try one crop, or order similar size, but narrower (for example, 1080p display)May 3, 2016 at 11:01 pm #35981hola yo he comprado el protector de cristal, me ha llegado hoy junto con el teclado.

May 4, 2016 at 11:10 am #36024He said that he has the glass too, when he install it he will told us how it goes. Also said, that a friend of him, has the glass installed already and only complain is when you attach and detach the keyboard, otherwise no problem at all, even when you close it.
He should write here in english, as its the “official” language.
I’m waiting for mine to arrive as well, should be here this week. Bought on Ebay. I don’t have the keyboard thought.
May 5, 2016 at 4:45 pm #36198I have tempered glass screen protector and keyboard dock installed, and I have no problem. Yes, the tablet will not close 100% to the keyboard dock, leaving a 1-2mm gap at the end, but it still closes quite firmly, and the keyboard keys is not pushed at all. Only the small rubber on top on the keyboard dock is not popping out again like the others below, which is not a big problem for me.
In fact, I replaced the glass protector once because I tear down my tablet with the glass attached, and it just cracks, since it is not glass screen, it is a plastic screen. The glue attached to the glass is very strong, you must be very careful taking it off (most likely because there is no oleo phobic coating on it).
So, If you cannot stand 1-2 mm gap when the screen is closed to the keyboard, it is not the right product for you. I just want to tell you the screen still closes quite firmly, and doesn’t wobble when closed even there is few mm gap exists.
May 12, 2016 at 12:16 am #36900I cant use my original temperated glass with dock. 1mm
