Does anyone know if the C2E3 is hardware compatible to C2D4, so I could flash the C2D4 DualBoot BIOS to my C2E3?
Has anyone succesfully flashed a Dualboot-BIOS to the Teclast X98 Plus II C2E3? Where can I get it?
October 24, 2016 at 2:57 am #55461You have posted basically the same question in another thread. Does this topic need its own thread?
October 26, 2016 at 8:24 am #55687Now I can confirm that the BIOS with md5sum <b369f29175d062da8abe1df6ea025aa5> can be used for Dual-Boot on the Teclast X98 Plus II C2E3 🙂

October 27, 2016 at 6:33 am #55788C2D4 is comatible to C2E3, so the file above should work on C2D4, too.
But first of all I would try to boot my X98 into DnX-Mode (press and hold “vol+” together with “vol-“, then power on. Something in yellow about … dnx Mode … should appear. Then You can use Phone Flash Tool for more.

Hi.
I own that X98 plus II, C2E3.
How can I flash that new BIOS?
I want to install Windows 10, don’t care about dual booting, I just want to boot from the USB Windows installer but stock BIOS doesn’t seem to allow USB booting…
Thank you.
October 27, 2016 at 6:03 pm #55848On rooted Tablet:
copy the BIOS to /data/local/tmp
use terminal emulator, do “su -” and cd to this directory, then “FPT -F <bios-file.bin>” shutdown and be patient!! at my tab it took 15 minitus til system booted again!
October 27, 2016 at 6:21 pm #55853Hello, is it the stock C2D4 Bios file or a newer version, maybe with fixed SD cards issue?

Please provide a link about the SD-Card issue. I did not prove this yet!
October 28, 2016 at 2:10 pm #55894Yes, debugging activated.
How did you root your C2E3?
Thank you.
October 29, 2016 at 10:14 am #55980Finally managed to get rooted.
But now I get stuck in Terminal Emulator when I try to type “FPT -F <bios-file.bin>”
It says syntax error…
