Does anyone know if the C2E3 is hardware compatible to C2D4, so I could flash the C2D4 DualBoot BIOS to my C2E3?

Has anyone succesfully flashed a Dualboot-BIOS to the Teclast X98 Plus II C2E3? Where can I get it?

You have posted basically the same question in another thread. Does this topic need its own thread?

Now I can confirm that the BIOS with md5sum <b369f29175d062da8abe1df6ea025aa5> can be used for Dual-Boot on the Teclast X98 Plus II C2E3 🙂

C2D4 is comatible to C2E3, so the file above should work on C2D4, too.

But first of all I would try to boot my X98 into DnX-Mode (press and hold “vol+” together with “vol-“, then power on. Something in yellow about … dnx Mode … should appear. Then You can use Phone Flash Tool for more.

    <hr />

    Hi.

    I own that X98 plus II, C2E3.

How can I flash that new BIOS?

I want to install Windows 10, don’t care about dual booting, I just want to boot from the USB Windows installer but stock BIOS doesn’t seem to allow USB booting…

    Thank you.

    On rooted Tablet:

    copy the BIOS to /data/local/tmp

use terminal emulator, do “su -” and cd to this directory, then “FPT -F <bios-file.bin>” shutdown and be patient!! at my tab it took 15 minitus til system booted again!

Hello, is it the stock C2D4 Bios file or a newer version, maybe with fixed SD cards issue?

    Did You enable USB-Debugging?

Please provide a link about the SD-Card issue. I did not prove this yet!

    Yes, debugging activated.

    Thank you.

    Finally managed to get rooted.

But now I get stuck in Terminal Emulator when I try to type “FPT -F <bios-file.bin>”

    It says syntax error…
