Thanks Chris
Interesting. Just as I was opening up techtablet.com – it felt slower than normal.
I think i’m going to ramp it up again. benchmarks don’t lie.

i cant change 1600 in bios.when i change and save and exit the tablet stacks, for very long time(last time for 5 hours until it boots up again whit 1066 again(seems its resenting the bios setting).
what im doing wrong?
December 4, 2016 at 2:13 pm #58051Mine is rooted for a while now and runs interactively between 480 mHz and 1840 mHz. For that purpose I installed Device Control with which you can tweak the settings of the processor (see screendump, but you have to set BIOS to turbo otherwise it will not show higher settings values, I also set C-state to 7 instead of 1). I downloaded sManager to lower the brightness of the screen with 70% or so, which has a huge impact on battery life. Standard the device settings show a minimum brightness level op 26, I changed it to 6 for a bright lit environment or to 2 or 3 for evenings with less ambient light in the room. It is really bright enough and now I can use the tablet twice as long.
I installed SGS Screen Booster to make the touchscreen much more sensitive.
As this Chuwi Hi12 is stable and comfortably running I do not tweak anymore. But listen, I do not play games. I read books, write large emails, browse the internet, read newspapers on the web, occassionaly watch youtube movies, but that’s it. No heavy stuff.
Hope this helps.

If the setting doesn’t take then seems you lucked out with the RAM, nothing you can do about it. Some units will take 1600mhz and newer ones it seems must have cheaper or different RAM chips.
