According to chuwi staff, in order to have time dual boot you need to ship it back to them… sad…

Chuwi says It’s impossible to do.. So no DualOS for me 🙁

They have to change Motherboard.

If you would like to risk, you can flash Hi12 dualboot Bios into your single OS hi12 following this method, then install Android OS.

If the mainboard version is V400 or serial number is after Hi10 421602XXXXX , you can follow this method to transform single OS Chuwi to dualboot.

But i think no one has tried this method to transform single OS tablet to dualboot so far. It is risky.

Hi all,

I have Chuwi Hi12. Bought it in second hand, and old owner told me that he deleted Android partition, but could be installed again without problem.

For my surprise I saw that version 601XXXX couldn’t be DualBoot. I though he just lied to me, but in the box, there’s a stick that says clearly you can change between both OS.

My doubt is if it means that could be Android or Windows (Dual OS), or is Dual Boot (both OS installed at same time), because I’m trying to install android, and all I got is delete Windows and keeps booting after show Chuwi logo.

I attach a pic of box’s stick that says that (in chinesse…a chinesse friend traslated to me).

Please, could anyone confirm me something related? I tried to post @ chuwi forum, but says I don’t have rights to post anything, seems I need to earn some points before I can perform this action (??!!).

I would apreciate any help, thanks in advance,

If there is no “√” in the box, it say it doesn’t support this funtion.

So your tablet with version 601XXXX couldn’t be dualboot.
