Thx for your answer. Do you have the same bios version? The SSD is new and i don’t think it is broken.

    Hi,

You can update to the full unlocked version ^^ But you need some skills to do so… Do it at your own risks, but I flashed my Yepo with that bios and it is full unlocked… If you are unsure of what to do, don’t do it… I give you the key, but you are responsible of using it.

To flash the bios, use my BIOS folder and the full Jumper unlocked rom from it. Go to my Google drive here : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1KxRG4fW0CjjfUhKG1TssjKiiv8jmn5je

Compare the bios you have with the one inside my folder to see if you have same type, use HWiNFO64 to get all informations prior getting further. Your Bios name must start with JUMPER10x.P8.WP313R. (jumper.rom is the same bios but with a friendly name to write when in UEFI Shell mode ^^)

I posted my experiment results here on the forum : https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/yepo-737a-running-jumper-ezbook-3-pro-v4-bios/#post-76298

You have to restart your notebook from bios Boot menu into UEFI Shell, then select the drive where you copied the folder with the flash tool and rom.

Use commands to navigate, like “help -b” to have a summary list of available ones, then use “fs<number of partition>:” to change to readable partitions from your system and use “cd” and “dir” commands to locate where you are (” -b” commutator will pause commands scrolling).

Read command options from the AfuEfix64.efi tool (type only “AfuEfix64” then Enter to get the full list), you can dump your bios first to a writable usb device, then proceed with rom check with command “AfuEfix64 <NewJumperRomYouDownloaded> /D” to be sure your rom is not corrupted from download (this will only test your file without flashing or erasing your current bios), then flash with command “AfuEfix64 <NewJumperRomYouDownloaded> /P /B” .

This will update your bios without erasing your factory keys for Windows license. You will then have a full unlocked bios… Then, you should explore functionalities from this new firmware (there is a lot) to get your SSD working. I also installed a Transcend TS128GMTS400S drive in mine and it is working flawlessly at full speed with this rom. If you have issues with this new bios in Windows, try to reset to default settings first, then adjust settings to your mood…</span>

    Regards.

This is strange. I put the MTS400 in my cube i9 and it doesn’t work. Then i tested my cube i9 SSD (Forsee S100G128G) in my EZBook 3 Pro V4 and it also doesn’t work. I have no idea what is broken. The Forsee S100 work perfect in my Cube i9. Someone has an idea?

P.S. : You can use AFUWIN x64 version from tools (Zip) in the BIOS folder to dump your bios if you have any problems to dump it from UEFI Shell…

For information, if you plan to use 2x SSD in the 2 SATA M.2 slots, the 6Gb/s speed will be split into 2x 3Gb/s … This is a controller limitation. I recommend you to use only one big SSD than using 2 separate ones…

    Hello Hodin,

sorry to sidetrack this thread a littlebit but quick question. I have an ezbook 3 pro v4/v5? with the bios JUMPER2X.P8.WP313R which has the very annoyin keyboard issue. The shift key is kinda stuck and key recognition sucks. Could I try the BIOS in your google drive to fix the issue? V4 pro does not seem to have this issue.
