I recently just bought an Ezbook 3 Pro from taobao. I bought a 128GB 6GB version. I believe mine is version 4 because it came with easy access m.2 ssd bay cover and 5ghz wifi. The problem is, this unit is fit with 64GB Sandisk eMMC ( very fast! ) and a m.2 ssd foresee 64GB which is very slow! So it’s not a 128GB capacity eMMC. The windows was installed on the foresee SSD. I have cloned the drive to eMMC and wanting to boot from eMMC instead. But on the bios I only see foresee ssd and no sandisk emmc. Attached picture. Can anyone help me please? I’m planning to swap out with bigger m.2 ssd, but since the windows is installed in the m.2, I can’t do a direct swap out.

Right now I am booting from Windows Boot manager. But I am still booting in from the SSD. Because I created a file in desktop and its still C drive.

every drive you use for boot becomes C in windows after boot, and non boot drives become D,E,etc.

take out ssd then and check if it boots from emmc or change wallpapers on both boot options and compare.

I have done a crystal disk mark. C drive is slow so I’m sure it’s the ssd

can you take out ssd and boot? it’s probably a matter of bcd settings that you cloned from ssd, but take out ssd and and check if it boots.

when i boot mine ezbook windows boot manager boots internal emmc and windows boot manager (nt-128 kingspec) boots from ssd.

btw: i think you boot from emmc all the time, not ssd, but take it out and we will see 😉
