1981 soldered my first Sinclair computer 1K, tapedeck * 1984 build and sold IBM clones 8Mhz, 512K, 20MB HDD * 2018 messing with ultrabooksNovember 19, 2018 at 10:14 pm #148263That’s amazing I hadn’t noticed it before as I used is almost always off charging.
But you are correct, the touchpad misbehaves If it’s charging! Thanks for the feedback.
November 21, 2018 at 6:27 pm #148354Interesting
could be a thermal problem with a non perfect pad connector or a hf interference from the power chip what could be easy fixed by putting some aluminum foil around the pad cable and see it is grounded (all big metal surfaces are ground)Need Help?

November 23, 2018 at 1:56 pm #148438remove the bottom plate and check all again.
after that take a closer look what the bottom plate might touch and if you can create a solutionNeed Help?

November 25, 2018 at 1:45 am #148456that is interesting to hear – tell me less.
