well I think it is some hardware problem. There is a lot of hardware and firmware problems in 3 PRO. in mine i have problem wit flickering screen/screen back light. it is annoying as f***. I’m sending it back to gearbest, I cant even sell it because of this, next day buyer will be back with it. sending it back will cost a lot, I think more than 1/4 of price… I’m so disappointed angry and god knows what else…
February 24, 2018 at 3:45 pm #83903The same happens to me, both left usb port and sd card randomly disconnects.
With sd card often windows pops out saying “a new device has been attached” like if I removed and re-endered the card.
I was copying 6GB of data from external HDD attached to the left USB3 port and it kept disconnecting with windows saying “cannot find the file to copy anymore”. Pressing “retry” the process continued.. like if disk disconnected/reconnected.
Maybe some power saving-related setting?
February 24, 2018 at 4:39 pm #84122The left board is connected with a flat flex cable and the cause of your problems could be easily it.
Try to open the laptop and disconnect/reconnect that cable. Keep in mind that it’s quite fragile.EZbook 3 Pro BIOS modder - find my work here

February 26, 2018 at 12:56 pm #93735I have the same with a jumper 3s – BUT it is only with a USB3 reader, nearly all other USB3 and 2 devices I have work fine.
Try different devices and see how it works out.
I also have a funny thing with a 128GB usb3 drive – when it is connected to the USB 3 port, then the wifi gets bad. If I put a extender cable or power monitor stick between, wifi works normal.
Some of the ultra cheap ultra books just have their quirks and you have to figure out how to work around it.

Any hint? I bought this laptop for my father, I don’t want so many problems, especially because we have only 2 usb ports… And one it’s used for mouse…
