Seems more like a V4 with a new bios or a different one used. The eMMC’s we worked out are random. You can get either a 5.1 spec one (like yours) Or 4.5.1 spec FORSEE or BWIN like what I have that is kinda slow.

But those eMMC’s are good, almost as fast as my Sandisk one in the Lapbook Air. As for the keyboard, not so good, build quality can vary from batch to batch.

So we really need to get hold of a way to flash the fully unlocked bios with power limit setting. But you can still use the RAM edit software method to boost the TDP to 10W or even unlimited. Waiting now for my EZBook 4 Pro, Gemini Lake CPU, HDMI 2.0 with 8GB of RAM

I have this but run in to big problems after windows reinstall on to ssd. Now this wont boot neither ssd or emmc. Just the efi shell.

Solved: bios does not see ssd so it wont boot there but windows installer sees it. So installer puts windows bootloader there when i install windows onto emmx or ssd and it wont boot. Disabled sata from bios, installed windows on emmc, booted. Now i must clone windows to ssd and edit boot manager to boot from there so i can format emmc but leave the boot manager partition (efi).

EDIT: Boot manager wont see the SSD if BIOS dont see it either. So that’s it. Damn I’m pissed. Sold my V1 and bought V4 so I can use my already bought SSD and now this…

I hope has a way to flash the fully unlocked bios with power limit setting.

And of course, Gemini Lake will be worth the wait.

    Chris G,
I have a problem with the keyboard. When I hold down the key to type a letter (eg, aaaaaaaaaaaaa) or delete text, it does not type immediately but wait 2-3s begin typing continuously. Even typing speed is not fast.
How to type consecutive letters immediately when holding down the key?

    Do you have any idea?

I am having the same keyboard issue which results in missing characters when typing. This occurs in Bios too. Very annoying. I’ve got in touch with GearBest an they want a photo or video to prove the issue. not sure how to prove it other then touch typing and recording the keystrokes.

Is there a way to resolve this without me having to go through the headache of returning it?

Hi, just received my pro 3 with Sandisk emmc, is changing it to HS400 advisable. Need to decide if it’s worth reinstalling a fresh windows or trying to disable the Chinese stuff and turning windows update on. Not sure about any keyboard issues yet!

    nager wont see t

Why? Couldn’t you just change the boot order? I thought this was a straight forward task to install windows on the ssd. Or maybe not in the V4

Bios dont see SSD. So I cant change boot order to something that isnt there. SSD shows up in windows after AHCI-driver… Gladly the sandisk emmc is quite fast so windows boots quickly anyway.

I see… They must have changed something in the latest V4. People with V3 seem to be able to install Windows on SSD without problem

It was no problem for me installing onto a Kingspec SSD with my V4 (ncard) model. I think I formatted the SSD first in Windows.

Seems like the latest batch with Sandisk EMMC are troublesome in a number of ways 🙁
