December 4, 2017 at 4:05 am #75619This is what the device manager looks like with my Jumper Ez book. I did have one problem recently whereby the touchpad refused to work at all after I plugged in an external dvd player.
When shutting down, the blue power light remained on after shutdown. After holding the power button down for ten secs or so it went out. On reboot the touch pad was working again. Maybe not your problem though but thought I’d mention it.

I tried uninstalling the touch pad drivers&re installing them.
I also tried to uninstall the program that blocks the touch pad using F9 button, I completly uninstalled it.
I didn’t try to reinstall windows, I doubt it will work seems like a hardware issue because it isn’t working from the beginning.
What do you guys think? What should I do? I already contacted Gearbest asking to return the item.
December 7, 2017 at 5:52 pm #75719take a look here: https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/ezbook-3-a-diary-with-some-hints-how-to-get-the-most-out-of-your-jumpers/
shows how to increase volume and how to reset the Jumper and install windows from scratch.
you can work your way without a mouse just by using the cursor keys, tab and enter
have a look here:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12445/windows-keyboard-shortcuts
after a new install everything should work, or just open the few screws and look inside if the trackpad might nooot be connected right.
It is done in less than 5 minutes with no voiding the warranty since there is no seal to break.
