    HWinfo says:  TDP is  6W

but CPU power limit = unlimited.

Is there a way to increase TDP to 10W

Cannot do it on the BIOS. There is no option for it.

    attached is hwINFO pic

just open task manager (ctrl  shift esc) click on cpu and monito who is gobbling up your power.

In my screenshot I have 4 differnt broweres open, some with 8+ tabs

also an email client, a download manager and much more.

    Still runs smooth and fast

okay thx everyone for your feedback.

I am going to order 128GB SSD  & also do fresh install of Windows

Can you tell me how to do fresh install of Windows on both options:

Fresh install on existing HDD and  how to do it on new SSD.

I know there is Youtube video on using sw to copy data over but fresh Windows OS install, I don’t think I saw it.

    thx

Do some of your own research and you learn for the future, use google, youtube, and forums where this has been discussed 12 million times.  Installing windows is not specific to the ezbook.

    Mike,

After you moved Windows OS from eMMC to SSD, did you also install a fresh copy of Windows 10 Home as well?

And for the fresh install did you use the Microsoft’s built in reset function below:?

You begin the clean install by using the Reset function in <b>Windows 10</b>. You’ll find it at Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Reset this PC (Get Started). Follow the on-screen instructions and you should see the option to remove everything and <b>reinstall Windows</b>.

    Hi,

No need for another copy of Windows.  You already own a digital licence with a key that is embedded in the ezbook’s bios.

Just follow any of the guides that are in this forum or even a youtube video will do the trick.  Use doubledriver to do a backup of your existing install’s drivers and produkey to get your windows key and away you go.

Oh you will need a thumb drive say 16 gig in size. Use rufus or Windows media creator to turn create the media you need to do the clean install.  Anyway I’m not doing justice to the steps involved by just giving an overview like this.  A step by step guide is what you need.

    Hi,

If you’re still confused about doing a fresh install then have a read through this guide. It should pretty much walk you through it.

    Hope this helps. 🙂

I got new 128GB SSD used Macrium reflect to clone windows 10 OS over to it.

Now – when I rebooted – it still rebooted off orginal eMMC drive: I see  Windows C: (original 64GB)  and now Windows D: (128GB SSD)

I went into BiOS and under boot options: SATA SSD showed up so I selected that option and rebooted,  and now Windows C:\ is 128GB SSD.

However when doing CrystalDiskMark  Max Read/Write speed is only about 245MB/s.

Here is the problem I am stuck with: Now when I rebooted the PC,   its booted off eMMc.

Now I cannot boot off SSD.  In the BiOS, I don’t even see SATA SSD being detected anymore in Boot options.

It only has  Windows Boot Manager.

When Windows 10 does boot up, I do see the SSD drive but its not being used to boot and it stays as drive D:\

Any can help me with the current issue?

    soultion:

I formated SSD and re-cloned it again..

now BiOS detected it and set it as primary boot option.

Still max read/write speed only around 250MB/s  original emmc is 170MB/s.

I think I need to get a different SSD.

    Laptop still same slow speed.

The eMMC/SSD are not the reason your laptop is so slow.

BTW: I don’t have keyboard lagging issues that others mentioned that is due to BIOS.. where you if you press down keys link FN+F9 at the same time, it will be delayed like 5 seconds.

However I don’t have slow keyboard lag when  I goto http://www.youtube.com  and in the search box, start typing words.. it will be delayed and is lagged.

After clean wipe of the SSD and re-cloning of  windows 10 image from eMMC to SSD,  Bios detected and it worked.

Read Speed of  450 MB/s vs 170 MB/s.   OS is a bit faster.   I still get  lagging texting when typing in words on YouTube, search box.   I guess just limitation of Jumper EZbook?   🙁
