Aliexpress usually have quite long shipping times at least to here (Finland) it takes 2-3 weeks.
Mine is at airline, but there usually updates stop and next time its updated when Finnish postal service receives it.
In hoping that Finnish postal service would get it at the end of this week, but shall see.
April 4, 2017 at 1:19 pm #64594I hope I don’t have issues with Chuwi Store on Aliexpress. Also why I prefer using BG and GB for PayPal if I do have issues, but the retailers get it weeks after Chuwi’s official store. If I do I will certainly make it know and nice and public for Chuwi in the form of a video or two if mine units faulty. Paid over $450 so far for keyboard, tablet, pen and DHL shipping so it better arrive in once piece and okay. Mines on the DHL van, I hope to have it soon.
Great! Hope you’d be able to do a very quick unboxing once it arrives. Can’t wait 🙂
April 4, 2017 at 2:12 pm #64596Still no info on my tracking but im not to worried yet because there on holiday! I am looking forward to some movement tomorrow or Thursday. April 4, 2017 at 7:26 pm #64608Well it seems like the USB ports on the keyboard are of 2.0 configuration. That’s a bit of a bummer 🙁

April 4, 2017 at 9:28 pm #64615Great video Chris G I really enjoyed it! Quick question I noticed the tablet came with that big huge charging brick! I was wondering if I could just use my normal USB typ c to USB cord and plug that into the little phone power brick! Could you charge this way or would it ruin? Reason I’m curious is i can’t charge in my car if I have to use that brick

Confirmed that and many other things: https://techtablets.com/2017/04/chuwi-hi13-detailed-first-look-keyboard-stylus/

I tried my small Quick charge 3.0 charger and while it looks like it’s charging it, it’s not sadly. Needs at least 2A and my quick charger is 12v 1.25A only.

I’ll find out tomorrow, will do a quick Linux test if I have time. If not in other video. Which is the best you think for touch support Brad?
Also, that type-c port Chuwi said full support, video and data and charging. I find video support hard to believe, why is there a micro HDMI out then?
My Hi13 just left Hong Kong, on the way to Leipzig hub in Germany, then down to Alicante, Spain early tomorrow for delivery I hope.
Chris, what I heard was that the Gnome desktop is the best for touchscreen use albeit not as nicely/specifically designed as Android or Win10 is for touch.
I think Gnome has an app launcher by default on the desktop with big icon/buttons and perhaps other bigger touch friendly buttons?
Give it a try with this Manjaro Gnome ISO installed onto your USB 3.0 pen drive (as you did before) –> https://downloads.sourceforge.net/manjarolinux/manjaro-gnome-17.0.1-stable-x86_64.isoApril 5, 2017 at 9:00 am #64668Anonymous

Do you think that they pre-sold them too cheaply and now want to back out of the deals?

Certainly sounds like it, but I have yet to receive this message on my two Hi13’s.

And I have a question to Chris:
How did you feel when you are browsing (with Edge) on Hi13? Is that laggy? I saw one of the comment in your video of someone asking that question and I think it’s pretty important to know since almost all of us are gonna use it to internet surf with.
Does it really spike up to 100 % on CPU in Edge like it did with hi12?
April 5, 2017 at 1:09 pm #64710my question then is why the F use Edge when there are so many other better browsers? The two i use are Vivaldi and Slimjet.
April 5, 2017 at 1:18 pm #64711my question then is why the F use Edge when there are so many other better browsers? The two i use are Vivaldi and Slimjet.
Despite your language, because Vivaldi does NOT support touch so well like edge does.
Edge is smoother in touch mode – whenever you are using it as a tablet.
Vivaldi doesn’t have pinch to zoom and trust me, I have tried all the versions of Vivaldi. I even tried out Maxthon nitro – which is even faster than Slimjet and doesn’t matter which web browser you are using, the one which supports touch the best is still hands down Edge.
And Edge is better to wathc 4k vidoes and netflix with.
Edge is def not perfect but at least, it gives you full supports of all the touch you need. Remember, this is still a tablet, and therefore needs compatible web browser to it.
If we don’t care about touch, then Maxthon Nitro is the fastest web browser I have ever seen on tablets like this. Also used the least amount of RAM and CPU percentage.

It still spikes up and down. But for example in Edge now its smooth playing a 4k YouTube clip and the CPU is around 73% to 80%. Chrome handles 4k YouTube very poor, stutters and lag still. But browsing in Chrome is okay, just not as smooth as Edge with touch.
