You might want to try to raise the issue with GeekBuying but you have to show proof to them (video or pictures) that what you received is an open box. Then perhaps they could refund a portion of your shipping. The panel issue is like a lottery, some get lucky while the others like Chris, you and me gets the bright but still crappy TN panel. Hope this helps. Good luck.

before you order just ask what kind of panel they send if you do not like the answer, choose a different dealer.
I never use geekbuying because of their outrageous shipping prices what makes the product more expensive than ali or GB.

seems they changed something regarding shipping.

BUT they do not mention IPS anywhere in their offer, so you have no ground to expect anything other than they offer:

    14 Inch 1920 x 1080 HD Display

EZbook 3L Pro equips with 1920×1080 FHD display, super slim bezel and super perfect display

also the box normally has no tape, it could have been an inspection resealing.

    OK thanks guys.

When I bought it I knew it was a lottery but on geekbuying it says you have 14 days if you don’t like it and with PayPal you get free return shipping so I thought it was worth a spin.

Like I said in another thread maybe they have to open the box to put in a UK plug adapter?  But a lot of unboxing vids I’ve seen on YouTube have seals on them.

Either way it’s going back. Now I have to try and organise that via their support and they seem to take ages to reply to emails and their English is less than perfect.
