Thanks for sharing. There’s also some on AliEx made for Hi12. I might order one to try:
May 12, 2016 at 7:02 pm #37017ahh good catch, when I looked last time all I could find was plastic. I was short on time last night but I will try to snag some pictures and upload them in case anyone wants a better idea before taking the plunge! I will say though, subjectively, for me the glass is a massive improvement over the touch/feel. IT just seemed like such a shame to put a beautiful screen like that and then bury it behind a plastic film cover :/
May 12, 2016 at 7:08 pm #37020The entire LCD area is covered though, right? That’s the part that gets the most traffic from fingers and styluses
May 12, 2016 at 7:13 pm #37022Yes, if you imagine it being held in landscape orientation then it is nearly a perfect fit height wise (covers right up to the top edge in all corners) and its really only the width where it comes up short by a fair amount, covering about 60-70% of the side bezels (and thus the windows home button which works just fine through the glass). So the only area exposed are the outside edges off the side bezel well past the screen edge. When it’s “on center” in this manner one of the whole cutouts almost perfectly lines up with the webcam but not entirely aligned. The camera isn’t that great to begin with but I tested it really quick and the glass is “clear” enough when clean that I couldn’t even tell that it slightly overlapped the camera cut out but I don’t forsee myself ever actually using that cam. If your worried about the fit I’ll attach some pics tonight which being where I am is about 7 hours from now.
May 12, 2016 at 7:17 pm #37023thanks a lot, did you get the keyboard too? If so can it close up properly in laptop mode?
May 13, 2016 at 2:02 am #37074May 13, 2016 at 2:17 am #37082wow not a bad fit at all, thanks for the recommendation. can you close the tablet in the keyboard with it on?
May 13, 2016 at 2:23 am #37083Sorry I would test that but I opted not to get the keyboard at this time

Sorry for a super late question but since Chuwi hi12 is still hot on the market: I have a question:
So how did this surface pro tempered glass fit together with the keyboard dock of Chuwi?
Did Chuwi keyboard dock crack the tempered glass which you used (Surface pro 3) or not? It’s really important for me to know cause if it doesn’t interfere with the glass, this tempered glass is a no brainer!
Thank you so much in advance !:)
March 1, 2017 at 4:29 pm #62899I haven’t been active on here in awhile so sorry for the late reply but I do not have the keyboard cover so I Can’t attest to how well (or not) the glass protector works with the keyboard cover.
