    Possible?  –  yes

Playable?  – yes with 20 to 30 fps with out a stutter.

In a small window? – no fullscreen with 800×600 widescreen without distortion

But only a short time until the throtteling sets in? – nope just finished a half hour session driving like crazy all over the map without a second pause. Thanks to throttlestop.

But the metal case gets realy hot? – no the plastic case from my Jumper ezbook 3s gets good hand warm thanks to the cooling tin I installed inside.

How hot does the processor get? – well monitoring the temps and load via MSI Afterburner the precessor never went over 72 C.

I made a 2 min 25 clip what was captured with FBX Game Recorder (freeware) in the backgroud during gameplay.
It looks better on the screen and the FBX also costs a few frames, since it is a real capture and writing on the SSD in real time.

Haven’t tried it at 800×600 on Apollo Lake but even on a 47W i5/860m gaming laptop with GTA V at 1080p/medium settings, the game slows to less than 30fps with occasional lag on some of the ‘busier’ scenes.

Can’t image it will play well on an Apollo Lake even at 800×600 low. GTV is just ridiculously demanding in terms of graphical performance.

Must have the heatsink mod done for this.

    @chupa
So how is throttle stop better than just unlocking the power limits? Is it faster?

If this posting is posted and not thrown away then my mistake waas copying your names and putting an “@” in front

1, Yes I made a special heatsink mod, see my “blog” here at the forum: https://techtablets.com/forum/topic/ezbook-3-a-diary-with-some-hints-how-to-get-the-most-out-of-your-jumpers/

2, I know it is very demanding that is why I got muself a good size and weight laptop with I7 and a halfway decend Nvidia where I can play with everything to the max in 1080,  That was 2 years ago. The fun was to figure out if it is possible at all. I will do a real camera clip, not a screen capture to show that it really works quite well. If I take the build in recorder than the lower framerates are not captured and everything gets converted and exported to 30 fps, I tried that but it was not what I wanted to show.
The only thing I did is close all other programs down, but just what is active on the task bar and hides in the hidden icon folder. As far as mods on GTA5 I manually disabled all shaddows and reflections (just 3 entries to change). It works also with the shaddows and reflections but if I run a video capture or a monitor everything as an overlay the fps goes down often below 20 fps. See:https://www.gtaall.com/gta-5/faq/27897-optimization-60-fps.html

3, Sadly in my fancy 3S with plastic body the BIOS is full of settings I can change but I did not find the unlocking the power limits. I followed your video but my BIOS looks a bit different. So I need TS to just extend my 20 seconds turbo speed up, to a few hours and more speedup. The processor pack than works happily for hours with 2100MHZ on all 4 cylinders and as long as no one goes over 80 Celsius no noticeable throtteling is seen.
I can change the 4 reaction times what are now set to  65,70,75 and 80 maybe then it will be possible to run with 80 degrees C without a problem.

as promised here is a real life camera clip with some fancy riding and later a look at This PC’s propperties.

Shot lying in bed a Sony HX5 in the right hand and playing with the left – the game. The Jumper is on a thick blanket (no chance for the warm bottom to get some ventilation) on my knees. The angels are crocked sice one eye or more is on the screen and if possible the other eye checks the framing.

play in 720 HD and full screen, there is no sound, so do your owm…

During this good 2 min clip the temp never went over  64C and the fps was between 17 and 30

Well I tinkert a bit more and now 1024×768 runs smooth with no stutter and often above 20 fps. 1280X720 is also possible to play, but you are seldom over 20 fps, no stutter but in some situations it gets too slow. I tried just for the heck of it 1920×1080 and it plays but mostly below 10 fps.
The trick is set EVERYTHING to off that includes Vsync.
I am working on a new video for the 1024 and the 1280 clips.
To see them you have to be over 18, if you knoow the GTA strip clubs, you know what to expect.
Here Is what I am working on: Nude mountain biking in a blizzard (all these rendered snowflakes moving around fast) , testing which bicycle is best for this task. Nude skydiving with lunar gravity just jumping from a platform, also testing the optimal settings TrottleStop vs RWEverything.

As promised here is the Xmas test, Jumper 3S playing GTA V  in 1280×720 fullscreen with a nude girl riding a bicycle during a blizzard in the evening.
Why nude girl? Weeeell, I rather watch a nice girl doing stunts than some dude, but that is just me…

There is also a 1024×768 fullscreen with a nude girl riding a bicycle during a blizzard during the night.

    https://youtu.be/Qs5jEp-Oh8s

aaaaand there is also a 1024×768 fullscreen with a nude girl riding a bicycle during a plesant day.
lots of visible things to render.

No bunnies were harmed (I am talking about the 4 legged version) in making this movies, one was brused a bit.

So in conclusion the N3450 with disabled turbo time limit and a good cooling is quite usable for some gaming fun, vide reencoding and much more.
