Jumper EZBOOK 3 PRO v3 – eMMC Speed HS400Attachments:

If I select HS400 or HS200 in the bios windows won’t boot but display a blue screen đ
If I switch back to the original setting it works. Is there another setting or driver I am missing ?
September 12, 2017 at 10:05 pm #72028Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work on the v4

September 13, 2017 at 8:42 pm #72091For me it worked once on V4 if I didn’t enable âSCC UFS Supportâ, but it doesn’t seem stable.
After another reboot I got also a blue screen.

Interesting. Did you also try the HS200 setting?
September 15, 2017 at 2:50 pm #72171Is there any other thing we can do to improve those terrible eMMC speeds other than spend the extra money for the SSD?
September 18, 2017 at 11:42 pm #72333Just tried it with HS200 and it seems more stable. At least I didn’t get a blue screen after two reboots,
but somehow I have the feeling startup takes longer showing the Jumper logo multiple times. So not
entirely sure about it. Nevertheless attached are the results before and after applying the changes.

Those numbers are still pretty pathetic even with the tweak. Honestly, it’s only $50 for an SSD at AliExpress, and you can multiply those benchmark results by 5. Just installed one myself, piece of cake. I guess the tweak could be useful until the SSD arrives, or if you don’t have the cash.
No offense intended, just my 2 cents.
September 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm #72767Super stable here with a new V4 revision EZbook 3 Pro using Samsung E-MMC.
Never had a blue screen since setting HS400 in the BIOS and speed almost doubled. Thanks!!
I think that this trick is not related to the revision of the notebook, but is related to the E-MMC mounted inside!!Regards

Where and when did you buy your v4? are they all coming with Samsung eMMC now?
September 28, 2017 at 9:53 pm #72784Gearbest, bought 6 september, sent 14 september, arrived 25 september.
I don’t know if they are all coming with Samsung eMMC, but I’ve read on another thread that others are receiving the same eMMC these days, so maybe this batch contains Samsung ones.
I confirm that HS400 mode is working very well on my v4 with Samsung eMMC. I obtain about 200MB/sec on sequential read and 150MB/sec on sequential write with Crystal Disk Mark, without any problems. Super-satisfied! đSeptember 29, 2017 at 12:25 am #72789I have the Ncard and my numbers were nowhere near those numbers. I did not tweak the BIOS because I didn’t want blue screens or a smoking laptop đ
Instead, I bought a cheap SSD to compensate and needed the extra storage anyhow. All is good.
Just to dispel any doubt, would you mind posting your actual benchmark results? I’m sure others would like to see them as well.
September 29, 2017 at 9:35 am #72798Here are the values I obtain with HS400 setting in the BIOS.
I repeat, the pc is absolutely stable and I have no problems at all.Attachments:

But happily enough this hack works for me: HS400 and SCC UFS Support.
I don’t have figures right now, but clean W10 1703 installation was surprisingly fast.
