Is not it better to look for batteries in a Canadian store?

Thanks for your post. I’ll look into it. I won’t hold my breath though; it isn’t a DJI I’ve ordered, it’s a Xiaomi. They aren’t sold in a store and parts are even less likely.

Thanks though. I will look into it.

I knew the store, you only need to contact your country in Contas Us. https://nis-store.com/accessories-for-drones/xiaomi-mi-drone-battery-white/

Thank you Andrew, since those posts I have managed to get the batteries I need, but I am glad you’ve made this post and can make available batteries for someone else.

I was able to order one battery through Amazon.ca – it cost more than anywhere else and took a long time to arrive. This delay was likely due to ground shipping instead of air. I also got another with the extra Mi Drone I purchased after a crash which damaged the camera of my first unit.

Currently I have two working Mi Drones but only one has the original camera. The other flies fine and I may experiment with attaching an action camera. I purchased a 3D printed part which facilitates thee attachment of an action camera at the access panel where the original camera typically attaches. Not as good as the original (not nearly) but for some applications it may do.

This leaves me with 3 batteries for 2 drones – a ratio I don’t see as optimal, but at the moment I have spent all I can and should on what is still only a hobby. Moving forward, I may have need for more batteries, but without a plan to split an order with others or resell the units, I simply can’t envision being able to justify a purchase of ten batteries. At least at this time.

    Thanks though

    sincerely

    Kris
